Urine Analysis

Preferably morning urine.

Urine Culture & Sensitivity

A sterile container is mandatory (available at lab or in pharmacies).

Washing hands and external genitalia.

Collection of mid-stream urine.

Stools Analysis for Occult Blood

Red meat abstinence 48 hours prior to analysis.

Semen Analysis

4 days of sexual abstinence prior to analysis.

PSA & Free PSA

No examination of the prostate 7 days prior to analysis.

Prostate Examination

Sexual abstinence 24 hours prior to analysis.

Allergy Test

Stop allergy drugs 2 days prior to analysis.

VMA & Catecholamines

24 hours urine is needed on a special container. (contact lab)

Avoid nuts, citrus fruits, cocoa, coffee & vanilla containing products 2 days prior to analysis.
